TCG Advance is an all-in-one website with tools for card collectors and local game stores
This website is for anyone interested in trading card games, from individual collectors to stores who buy/sell/trade TCGs. We want to expand this community and share it with as many people as possible. The more the merrier!
TCG Advance is undergoing development at all times to improve our user's experience. Our goal is to offer features and tools to aid collectors in organizing their collection, building and testing decks, and do so for multiple trading card games. On top of that, we will provide valuable listing and advertising services so any stores that trade, sell, or deal in any way with TCGs can have an affordable web presence that helps grow their business.
TCG Advance offers unique features for collectors and stores alike. Collectors currently have access to our card database, a collection tool, and a wishlist. We are working on implementing a deck builder, deck tester, list builder, and binder builder/organizer. Stores currently have access to all of the same tools as collectors as well as our FREE listing service. In time they’ll have options for premium listings, advertising, and even a partnered website. Our goals are ambitious, but we strive every day to deliver an experience unlike any other.
If you’re someone who loves what we are doing and wants to contribute, we have a couple ways you can support the site. Visit our Support Us page to learn more!
Not at all! If you’re just looking to browse cards, decks, and stores, you’re in the right place! However, if you want to record your own collection, build decks, list your store, or access any number of our more advanced features, you’ll need an account. Both collectors and stores can create FREE accounts. There will also be paid accounts and upgrade options available in time that unlock exclusive features.
We have account options for collectors and for stores (or LGS). For the collectors, they’ll get free access to all of the unique tools that help them record and track their card collections, build decks, and so on. For stores, they’ll be able to list with TCG Advance for free, and get access to all of the same unique tools that collectors have.
You can click the ‘Login’ button in the navigation at the top of the site or in the footer of the site. Then, on that page click the ‘Sign Up’ button to get started. Not only will you get access to more amazing features on our site, but it’s also entirely FREE!
We don’t want anyone to feel like they don’t have access to top of the line tools, especially when it comes to trading card games. Collecting TCGs can already be an investment on its own, so why make it more expensive than it has to be? We care more about the community we build on this site, and providing accounts for FREE is our way of saying thank you for using TCG Advance.
Absolutely! If you are one of our Patreon members, you’ll get access to an entirely ad-free experience on our site no matter the tier. Then, depending on the tier you’re subscribed to, you can unlock even more unique awards like unlimited decks and lists!

TCG Advance offers a FREE store listing that allows you to show your logo, phone number, website (URL), and address on our site. This not only gives you a larger digital footprint, but as our website grows, so will the number of people who see your store. It’s a win-win!

TCG Advance is a safe and secure place for our users. It is our responsibility to be transparent about what data we record, why we require it, and what we do with it. We will never sell user data, and promise to ensure your safety on our site.
Currently we only have Magic: the Gathering. Once the website is stable and working well, we will begin the implementation of other games. There's no way to know for sure which games will be on the site and when because we rely on dependable APIs to import card data. If a game doesn't have a reliable API for us to get access to, it won't be included on the site. Click here and scroll down to see our projected timeline for the site.
The short answer is yes, eventually. In order to add a new TCG to the site, we will need access to its card data. APIs (application programming interfaces) are what we use to import that data so we can have access to the images and content for each card. Each trading card game will have its own API, and getting access to these is unique to each game. We will add games in a case-by-case format to ensure that each one we add is not only a complete collection of cards, but a stable, reliable, and updated API we can depend on. Click here and scroll down to see our projected timeline for the site.
Go to the account dropdown in the top right, then select “Decks”. There you’ll see a list of all the decks you’ve made, how much their total estimated value is, and you’ll be able to sort them in various ways.
Yes you can! From the decks page in your collection, click the “Export” button at the top. You’ll be able to download the deck as a TXT file, or copy the plain text.
In order for us to save on storage space, TCG Advance has limited all of our free users to just 25 decks. If you need more than 25, visit our Patreon to become an Apprentice Tier member or higher and unlock more deck slots and other helpful features!
Go to the account dropdown in the top right, then select “Decks”. Once there, just click the orange “Build a Deck” button, fill out the “Deck Info” form, and you’ll be good to go!
Deck visibility is an option that allows others to see your deck if you select “Public”, or you can keep your deck a secret by selecting the “Private” option. Public decks are great because it lets other users get ideas for building decks, but private decks ensure that your arch nemesis can’t see what you’re working on! Muahahaha!!!
Absolutely! Just click the blue edit icon beside the deck name at the top of your deck page.
There are several ways to add cards to your deck. The easiest way is to go to your deck, enter the card’s name in the card search, then click on the version of the card you want. You can also go to any individual card page, and beneath the image select the “Add to” dropdown, select “Deck”, then choose which deck you’d like to add the card to. Lastly, there is a quick add option for mana cards beneath the card search where you can add basic mana cards to your deck without searching.
After creating your deck, click on the “Import” button at the top of the page beneath the deck info card. In the pop up, you’ll need to paste the list of cards you’d like to add as plain text. Each card will look like this example: 1 Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness (FIC) 164
Importing from Moxfield: Go to the “More” dropdown at the top of your Moxfield deck page, click “Export”, copy the deck list, then paste that into the import pop up on TCG Advance.
Importing from Moxfield: Go to the “More” dropdown at the top of your Moxfield deck page, click “Export”, copy the deck list, then paste that into the import pop up on TCG Advance.
Go to your deck page, click the “Export” button at the top of the page beneath the deck info card, and a pop up will display the entire deck list as plain text for you!
Depending on the game format your deck is being built for, certain cards will not be allowed or considered “legal” for that format. The red circle icon with a dash through it will show how many cards are in a deck that aren’t allowed for that format. When viewing a deck in any of the various views, the banned icon will be displayed next to a card’s numerical value in red if that card is banned/illegal.
We built in a nifty tool to help you identify which cards you do/don’t already have when viewing any deck. At the top of the page will be a yellow treasure chest icon with a number next to it showing you how many cards you don’t have from that particular deck. When viewing a deck in any of the various views, the “NOT in Collection” icon will be displayed next to a card’s numerical value in yellow if that card isn’t in your collection.
The “Add to” dropdown is how you will sort your cards between your main deck and your sideboard, and it’s also where your tokens will be added.
There is an “Add to” dropdown next to the card search that sorts between the cards in your main deck, your sideboard, and your tokens. Simply click the tokens option and you’ll see them displayed below!
Absolutely! There is an “Add to” dropdown next to the card search that sorts between the cards in your main deck, your sideboard, and your tokens. You can either select the sideboard option and add cards from that view, or you can click the three dots next to a card in your main deck and select the “Move to Sideboard” option to change where they’re located. The same works in reverse for sideboard cards you’d like to move to your main deck.
Anytime you add a card that would create a token, that token will automatically be added to your deck. Alternatively, you can also search for tokens in the card search like you would for normal cards and add them that way.
Note: Some cards may not trigger the token automatically. If that’s the case, manually add it, then let us know by filling out the “Got Tips or Requests” form at the bottom of any TCG Advance page so we can update it!

You sure can! TCG Advance has a card draw feature beneath each list of cards on a deck page where you can test your hand, draw new hands, and add individual cards to a hand to get a feel for how your deck will perform. The more new hands you draw, the more you’ll get an idea for the average amount of lands per hand you’ll get.
Sure! There’s a “History” section beneath the cards in a deck that will show you the most recent 15 changes made. That way, if you accidentally delete a card or change a printing, you can see what you did and how to fix it!
When you search and find a card, you can either click the ‘Quick Add’ button from the search page, or you can click into the card page itself and use the options beneath the card image to add it.
We currently support importing Moxfield collection lists. If you have a Moxfield collection, you can export it as a .CSV file and then import it to your TCG Advance collection. We are working on adding more import options in the future.
Not yet!
Absolutely! In your collection, you’ll be able to edit quantity, printing, and condition. You can sort your collection in a variety of ways, can import and export cards, and can also search your collection for specific cards!
Card conditions are what shape your cards are in. You’ll be able to select a card condition from a card page before adding it to your collection. You can also change the condition of the card from the list view of the collection page. We adjust the value of the card in your collection based on condition. Near Mint = 100%, Lightly Played = 85%, Moderately Played = 50%, Heavily Played = 20%, and Damaged = 5%. If a card falls below $0.01 USD because of these percentages, we automatically value it at $0.01. The values we use are to give you an idea of the card’s worth, and are by no means a direct representation of market value. We do our best to stay on top of market trends and adjust these percentages accordingly, but know that a blanket percentage will never be a fully accurate representation of price per condition. For more accurate pricing, you can check sites like TCGplayer or Card Kingdom, visit your local game stores, or get cards appraised through services.
When you search and find a card, you can either click the heart icon from the card search page, or you can click into the card page itself and use the options beneath the card image to add it.
TCG Advance offers a FREE listing service where your logo and contact info will be displayed on our store search page. If you have an upgraded store/listing account, you’ll also be able to link to your social media pages, show which TCGs you offer, display media (photos and video) to show off your store, and even list upcoming events!
